I am searching for a Hobbies treadle lathe to buy and look on ebay on a regular basis to no avail but I keep turning up interesting treadle saws at prices that are hard to resist.
This is my latest purchase a Hobbies Royal.

The problem is if I keep on like this if I ever find a lathe I won't have any space to put it.

Lovely machine. If I had the room in the car I would love to take one of those to the craft fairs and give demonstrations. It would certainly attract the people.

I wish that were true, Chris, I sold my Hobbies A1 this weekend as I don't have room to keep it.

What a fabulous machine, well done for saving it from near extinction. Demonstrations at craft fairs and the like would be a big crowd pleaser. However I believe treatment is available for your condition. I can send you my wife, she will not necessarily cure you, but she easily prevents me from adding to the workshop machinery!

Thanks for the kind offers however I think most would cause more problems than they would solve.
I think that this will have to be my last treadle saw due to plans to downsize next year my best hope is that I find a lathe and then stop searching all things treadle.
