How to thank somebody

I noticed recently that you can now "thank" a member and "be thanked" by somebody else. (did it appear recently, or have I just not been paying attention?)

How do you do it? I've looked around but can't see anything obvious within the posts.

The little "thumbs up" icon on the bottom right, next to "report".
