how to finish Larch?

Hi All,
Bought some larch at the auction. going to make some garden seating out of it.
I think its rot resistant.
Will a finish such as teak or tongue oil be ok, it will be outside all year.

I did just that four years ago, sealed mine with tung oil and it's been fine. Gave it a light sand and re-applied last year.

Be careful when you come to plane the larch - it's prone to tear if you try to plane it against the grain.
