Apologies for the long diatribe but I need to be clear.

I purchased the safety switch recently. Now I wish to couple this up to my router table.

Upfront I know I am not and electrician but at the same time I have wired up my house (OK not here in the UK - and yes it passed certification testing).

I think that I understand what is required and it is not overly complicated; however I know it is best to ask the knowledgeable folk on this forum.

So here goes:

My suggested wiring

The wiring is incoming cable on the left with the outgoing to router on the right. The ground wire is bridged across from in to out.

Is the diagram correct?

All advice taken.

Thanks in advance.[/url]

Could you arrange a 90 degree overhead photo... I can't tell from the shots there where that top black wire is connected to.

Brain. I have the same one. I can take a photo later if you want?

Hi Lynx,

it would be appreciated if I can see a photo of your set-up. Thanks

Brian,
The diagram suppiled shows the supply (incoming) connected to L1(live) & L3(neutral) and output (router) connected to T1 (live) & T3 (neutral).

This is the opposite way to what your suggesting.
The wiring is incoming cable on the left with the outgoing to router on the right.
Hope this helps.

Jeff

Hi all,

I received a pic from Lynx showing his wiring. Thanks Lynx :D

Lemonjeff, you are absolutely right, the pic Lynx sent me ratifies what you have stated. The Live and Neutral in my proposed diagram need to be transposed!

Thanks to all for the info. I will be wiring up now and hopefully pronounce success!

Thanks to all!
