Holiday ideas needed ;-)

Hi,

For the last few years my family (Me, the wife, and two young children) have taken holidays in the Loire Valley and the French Atlantic coast staying in rather nice Gites with private gardens, bbq, access to shared pool - I guess you know the sort of thing.

I drive there and back and enjoy the freedom of taking the car. So, can we have these types of holidays in Spain? Can we holiday in a Spanish equivilant to the French Gites? Can anyone suggest a web page or company we should look at?

Sorry I can't help you Dave, but would love to hear more info about your France trips. The missus (to-be), the dog and I are thinking about driving to France for a short break this summer.
