Turned from a piece of Chestnut burr and finished with Danish oil and a coat of woodwax22. This has been the first piece after my hospital visit and boy did it feel good to be back turning.
Size is 4 1/2" tall by 5 1/2" wide

Glad you are spinning again, interesting piece of stock you had there to play with.

Good to be playing again. Still, have two large pieces of this and another couple about this size. Should be good fun as the bark likes to fly around

Having interesting stock to play with certainly ups the incentive and pleasure factor.
