Hi all

Can anyone help me my neighbour stuck his head over the fence earlier and said we are off to Italy for a couple of weeks can you look after the Tortoise's for us, no probs say I have a nice time. They have not left me any food never had one of these creatures in my life, can anyone tell me what they eat.

He has been gifted these by his older sister, who has emigrated to the land down under and he reckons they are about 48 years old. So I would like them to still be alive on there return.

Thanks in advance

Berns

Hi

They are vegetarian - dandy lion leaves, lettuce, tomato, grapes, cucumber all go down well.

Got to be the most boring pet ever

Regards Mick

Not all vegtarian. Our Hernan tortoise would eat worms, slugs and even spam !

Dandelion, lettuce and strawberries were also popular.
