Hello! - I'm Tim - glad to have discovered this forum in a random search about an old vice (there's a pun in there somewhere!). I'm an occasional amateur organ-builder and as-needed handyman, with a tiny workshop in a (purpose-built, brick) shed in my garden. (In a past life I did some somewhat specialized precision engineering, and I still do quite a bit of electronics.)
It's great to see so many tips and ideas shared. Best wishes to all.

I finally got round to visiting today. very friendly. in terms of what they have, it's mostly structural softwood but there are some racks of harder stuff. Some pictures attached. Beware that some search engines give the wrong address - the correct one is 2 Spring Valley Business Centre AL3 6PD - next to Zund, which is on the main drag through the Porters Wood business area (and at the end of that drag nearest the town; if you get to the Banana Moon nursery you've gone just too far).
