Hi just finished this made a few changes to the last one I made I changed the tank and the back mudguard took me ages to do the wood I used was indigbo sapele beech poplar walnut maple all the black parts are ebonised sapele thanks for looking

WOW! excuse my ignorance here is it a "3d" model or a "half model" like the ones of ships you see in museums mounted on a mirror? whatever it looks the dogs cahuna's

Its called Intarsia smoggy. Its where you create a pattern using different woods to get a fabulous contrast. If you want to have a go you might find this useful http://www.woodworkingformeremortals.co ... arsia.html
