At the risk of copying another thread, I'm sure the prices of the items reflect the skill, labour, and overheads of the maker, but I'm not sure they reflect the benefit I'd get from owning them.

At the prices I suspect he's charging, he's priced higher than Gransfors, amongst others.

If you are hewing beams from tree trunks, the money you spent on your axe will quickly seem like money well spent. There aren't many makers to choose from for some of these tools, and none of them cheap ... I rather like the broad axe. But I really don't need another axe. No I don't ... damn. why did you have to post that ?
