I haven't used those ones but did try a couple of 4 watt about 18 months ago and were too dim for my liking, changed to 5 watt (not Screwfix) and there's a huge difference in light output. Probably me but I like well lit rooms.

Same output as the previous 50watt halogen but only 10% electricity consumption works for me.

When your looking at Leds the important factor is lumens output not the watts in as their efficiency can vary a lot. Think a conventional halogen GU10 is around 500 lumens but then a lights appearance can vary with the colour temperature and angle of output. Then there is CRI to take into account. Franky I get lost with it all at times. Currently using some cheap SMD type Leds around our home.
