on our visit to the UK this year we hired a car. We have never gotten the car we actually ordered in all these years, but normally get a free upgrade, so thats good.
This year the hire company was so far out of whack that we got a double upgrade and drove away in a Hyundai Tucson
this car is GOOD. Very Good. we didnt test its off road or bad weather handling (apart from the usual rain), but i could happily recommend it to any body. The gps was dead on and fast to react. Almost 500 miles on a tank full of diesel. No back or neck aches for me, despite my mildly damaged back.
last year we had a cashquai, which did not live up to its promise. this Hyundai is larger in all inside measurements and carried 2 x adults, 2 x child seats (with children attached), 4 large suitcases and umpteen cabin luggage bags and items, and nobody got crushed or even cramped on the 200 mile journey.
Top marks to hyundai.
