Penzance Youth Hostel is as close to Newlyn as it gets. You're probably better listening to shipping forecasts for a general idea than relying on local weather forecasts - I look at BBC Truro, which is five miles away - and it's invariably wrong.

I use Metcheck and find it pretty good.
But I have a couple of apps on my phone and whilst they give me a % chance of rain, none of them tell me how much rain to expect! A drizzle or a soak? It's ridiculous.
But then they are "free", just a vehicle for adverts, so I shouldn't complain. But if you want to attract people with something free, at least make is usable, eh?

I use the BBC Weather, Home & Dry and the new Met Office Apps.
The new Met Office one now gives a radar view of the UK for the day.
Home and Dry gives a radar view for a few hours but is pretty accurate.
The radar maps colours indicate how much rainfall is expected.
