gold leaf platters

Hello folks

here are 6 platters made with rippled olive ash which I have completed recently- made the same way as the one I did for the woodturning article last year in issue number 239
the wood is finished with woodoc 10 and the leaf with acrylic lacquer
the sizes are between 14 and 18" in diameter

Geo. they are superb , the wood is fantastic and and fits in perfectly with the patterns of the gold leaf . Normally I don't like embellishments covering the wood grain ,but those are exceptional ,thanks for showing.

maybe Phil-but I like making them and they sell quickly compared to pure wood platters
