Hi All

I have large project to glue up, 46 mortice and tenon joints to assemble all at the same time. My question is what is the best long open glue to use, Titebond Original or Casecamite?

I had to glue up a cot side rail with about 30 + m&t and used titebond original and it worked well. He kicks the living .... out of it every time we put him to bed and all joints have held up so far (9months).

Sometimes it is possible to break the job into two (or more) glueing sessions. Maybe still using the other parts dryfitted to hold everything square.

Don't forget Titebond do a long working time version of the original. What about considering slow setting epoxy too, I'm sure that would give you more than enough time but clean up could be a problem.

The two part Aerolite might be a consideration here...don't know where you'd get it these days though
Edit: apparantly Axminster stock it- Rob
