Deft T30. Gold top model with dovetail rise and fall system.
cheers Kev

How do you find this saw- they always looked very good spec for the money.

Just unpacked a Ryobi ETS1525. The blue colour, not the new green one. Cost £150... Cabr be sniffed at.
Not finished tuning it yet.
Miter gauge is very sloppy in track. 1/2" track so replacement is impossible.
.
I'll try making a sled for crosscuts and 45 deg. mitres.

Very loud on switch on. But once running its much quieter than I expected. Even when cutting or ripping a 2x4.

Hi
I have just bought an Axminster TS200 with the sliding table add on. Too early to comment on its merits or otherwise as I am still setting it up.

I've got a Makita MLT100 and so far it seems to meet all my needs, pretty accurate for a "cheap" saw. One day I will get a proper cabinet saw.

Tom.

Started with Makita MLT100
2nd was a Makita 2704

and now have a compact Axminster TS200 with the bits n bobs.

I have a Jet JTS-250CS, great saw, although the fence can be fiddly at times. I'm shortly going to get steel to make a Biesemyer style rail and purchase a new fence and extrusion from VerySuperCoolTools from the States. I got the fixed left extension wing a couple of months ago but haven't fitted it yet. As soon as I do I'm gonna build a crosscut sled.
