We moved house when I was eighteen, and found a small money plant abandoned on a windowledge. After watching the cat chew the leaves off it for a few months and not quite killing it, I threw it in a bigger pot with a few handfuls of earth (no gardener, then :D ). It thrived and I've had cuttings of the same plant ever since. I'd read that they flowered, but his is however the first time (in this Country) I've seen one flower -

It's kept outdoors from May to mid September, then brought in.

They are almost indestructible. When I was about three (1963) I was given one at the local church fete because I didn't win anything at the hoop-la stall (the chap took pity on me). It had just two tiny leaves, and neither I nor my mum was expecting it to survive.

My mum still has the main plant in their conservatory - huge and still going very strong. We have two of that one's clones, and I've just given four clones from them to the grandchildren of a friend.

Ours are horribly neglected but seem to thrive on it, they've flowered the last few years (well, a bit), but we don't seem to be any richer so far ;-)

PS: Every so often they fall off the landing windowsill - compost and leaves all over the stairs. Even that doesn't seem to hurt them much. Apparently they're popular as beginners' Bonsai subjects.

PPS: The flowers on yours are much bigger and better than the last ones ours had - you obviously have the knack.

Well I'll be.. my stepmother had several of these around the house ever since I was a child and I never knew they flowered. I wonder why it took so long? - the flowering I mean
