In case anyone is looking for good quality Forstner bits, Famag are doing a good deal until 31st December. Seven bits, 15 - 50mm for €152.45. I suspect this is German dealers only, but for typically €10 delivery from Germany, it's still very cheap compared to UK prices.
Trouble is, I prefer the look of the Colt Maxicuts, which cost a lot more. Decisions!
Does anyone have any experience of the various shapes such as wave (Colt) or toothed (Bormax) and - most important - how easy the Bormax are to sharpen? Colt have a nice video showing that their cutters are straightforward to sharpen, hence my reason for leaning towards them.
