Get the customer to have Junckers.
Glue down to chipboard, NO !!
Nail Down to chipboard, maybe, but best not to.
Floating solid hardwood only relying on glue in the tongue and grooves, not advised.
Junckers is high quality ( quite expensive to be honest ) but it uses a mechanical method of joining the boards that allows for expansion and contraction. It's fairly easy to fit and will last forever.
