Hi all, I have the log in the attached picture which i'm going to mount on an existing tree stump to make a little table, can anyone suggest a finish to protect it from the wonderful English weather? Ideally i'd like the bark to stay on but not look too shiny, also want the grain on top to be accentuated.
Any suggestion will be appreciated.
(the log is drier now than in the picture and nicely sanded)
