Hiya

Some help from you good people, please.

We have an extractor fan in the bathroom, and a vent tile has been fitted in the roof above. However, the two aren't connected.

Can anyone tell me what the fittings are called, that would fix on to the tile, to take the trunking? It'd be a rectangular cone shape (if that makes sense).

I've tried searching Screwfix, B&Q etc without success, and my in-store enquiries have met with blank looks.

Thanks!

Local builders merchant or roofing merchant can usually supply and can definitely offer more than B&Poo who are useless. Is it a concrete or plastic tile? Knowing what the tiles are will help as well - e.g Marley modern etc.
Why has it been fitted without connecting the extractor - very strange!

try toolstation or screwfix
i take it you mean something like this
http://www.toolstation.com/shop/Electri ... 083/p36325

be careful with condensation running back down the ducting and into the fan itself

Might fit or be adaptable but that adapter is intended to convert flat plastic duct to round and not to fit to a vent tile.
