Hello,

I'm considering buying a Hammer N4400 for my small workshop and I'm looking for advice regarding extraction.

All I currently have is a Trend t30 vacuum which is attached to my mitre saw. In that role it's ok, not great, but I have found it good with a router and doubt it would be any use for the bandsaw?

Can anyone recommend a small unit I could use with the bandsaw? (listed as requiring a min of 814m3perhr).

I have very little space.

Thanks

Hi,

I got one of these from toolstation a few years ago and am seeing how it does on my new bandsaw before deciding if I should look at something different. So far it seems to do a pretty good job (other than the usual nooks and crannies which need the occasional hoover). Only thing is it's fairly loud.

p.s. I have the trend too. Love it for my domino and ts55. Hoping it keeps going. I understand it might be possible to use it on the bandsaw but the simple fact the bandsaw wants 100mm hose means I haven't even tried.

Carl.
