Hi All

I'm looking to buy an edgesander.

In the main I make kitchens, wardrobes etc. The doors are MR MDF. Until now the edge finishing has been done elsewhere, but I will be starting to do this myself. In my mind an edgesander would be the most efficient and consistent way of doing this. I know a lot of people do it with a ROS but seems like a long process to me, am I just wrong and it isn't that time consuming? If it is time consuming, should I just suck eggs and take it as being part of the job? Will I get a good enough finish with the right grade on the edgesander? But my main question is:-

Which edgesander do you own/use and how do you rate it?

May comeback with a similar question on ROS' (i'm thinking Mirka)

Thanks

Nathan

We stack 4 or 5 panels together (depending on size) making sure the edges are flush, cramp the panels together with quick grips and sand them with 150 and 240 grit discs. We use 3M air palm sanders. It takes a little while longer than doing them 1 at a time but it helps to keep the edges square.
