I have the iron, chip breaker, wedge, handle and mouth from an old diseased 22" wooden preston plane. I had thought to play around and try to rebuild it but I know now that just isnt going to happen.
So the question is, would these parts be worth enough to anybody if I got them back to the UK?
The blade is 2 1/2" wide and in very good condition.
The beech body was 3 1/4" square.
The only postage cost would be royal mail second class, they could go back in the luggage of the next traveller.
