Firstly if this post is in the wrong section then I apologise.

I have a problem with my jigsaw, it is a Dewalt DW321-GB Type 2. Whenever I try to cut anything like a straight line the thing veers off line massively. I currently have Bosch T-Shank blade in it, tried it with orbital on and off without joy.

Looking at the blade it does seem to me the blade is slightly twisted when tightened.

Is it the blades? Should I try U-Shank blades? Is there a particular blade suited to this saw? Anyone have this jigsaw/problem and solved it or have I gotta bin it?

It is only used on soft materials like chipboard, ply and occasionally MDF.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Dewalt jigsaws have always been rubbish sorry but it will never be right.

You need to get either a Bosch or festool one to get better results

I know they are junk but this one seems especially poor, was hoping there was something that could improve it.

Festool out of my price league, any particular model Bosch worth keeping an eye out for should a bargain appear in 'For Sale' or on Fleabay?
