Dust ...

So I'm sick of the way dust seems to linger and gather on the vertical surfaces in my workshop. These are untreated ply boards. Does the community think a coat of paint would help prevent the (static?) effect?

I think it's the roughness of the ply that allows dust to cling to your vertical surfaces, so the smoother you can make it the less dust will settle. I imagine paint will help a lot.

I have some MFC boards on the wall next to the lathe and it is a dust magnet.
