Hi,

Bit of a Noddy question so bear with me....

I recently bought a camvac which I extremely happy with. I went for the 2.5" outlet as it was a little cheaper and in stock which is quite a feat for a camvac it seems. It took ages to find a supplier in stock but they were great with helping me!!

I've been using 100mm extractors in the past as accessories and connectors are easily availabile. This seems to be a little more difficult with the 63mm /2.5" pipe.

Question - Does anyone know where I can find a reducer from the 63mm/2.5" to a 38mm pipe? I have picked up 5m of 38mm pipe for use hoovering up the workshop but I'm a little confused how the adapters work and the sizes stated. What I would really like is a reducer where the 2.5" pipe screws into it and then the 38mm slides over the top of the reduced section if that makes sense.

Also, is there an adapter where I screw the 2.5" pipe into one end and then you can slide an additional 2.5" pipe over the other end. What I want to be able to do is run a pipe from the vac to a dust collector then to a point a my workshop where all of the hoses from other machines will meet it. That way I can just attach whichever machine I am using. The work shop is only small so I think this will be the easiest option as I don't need to run 2 machines at once

Hope that has made sense, any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Josh

If no exact fit you could buy one closest to yours and manufacture a reducer from rainwater or plumbers waste pipe.

Buy the pipe slightly over size in the inside dia then slice a piece out it lenghtways until you can squeeze it tight over the desired outlet. Apply some solvent weld contact cement http://www.screwfix.com/p/floplast-sc25 ... -_-Product Listing Ads-_-Sales Tracking-_-sales tracking

to the cut joint (not the outlet or you wont get it off) and hold its closed tight with jubilee clips

A friction fit is what you are after so it stays put on the machine but comes off when you need to remove the hose.

Good luck
