Hello everyone, another piece made today with this I want to remind the Dolomites with its towers and valleys. laburnum finished filler. height 10 cm
advice and criticism thanks.

Just waiting for the snow to melt.
You captured great figuring in that sample of wood.
 
What a stunning bit of timber, and very nicely turned as well, I agree with Bob, could easily hold its head up in a gallery.

Yes, but he hasn't been seen there for a long time. Now you know why.
 
I found a small piece here in Italy, however it's proving very very hard to source exotics, and when i do, proving extremely expensive.

Laburnum or "golden rain" has a really nice finish when turned, where do you get yours from?

two weeks ago was held in rovato, near brescia, the national competition of woodturning and a friend of belluno brought two trunks that I got.
