Hi,
I've been a Skype user for about 5 yrs since two sons went to work in Oz and the US. Works well for free calls and if you have a subscription you can do conference calls. Recommended.
I guess the obvious check is on your local broadband speed anything too slow would be problematic due to size of bandwidth.
