Well my first home made DG has been in a month now. I decided to start with the kitchen window as it was the one that suffered most from condensation and is also the most exposed.
9 sq ft of glass, 18 mil gap and 20 grams of silica gel, so far all ok. The thermal result is good, the top part of the frame is an opening light, which I haven't glazed and no pyrometer is needed to check the thermal performance of the DG, just put your hand on it!
Started the on lounge yesterday.
