I had a quick look on google.bg but couldnt find anything. If was made 20 years ago then maybe has disappeared. A lot of companies did around 1997. There is a company called Zino but they seem to specialise in hydraulic and pneumatic systems now. May be same company. Is based in a place called Kazanlak.

yep thats about the limit i could find too, looks like any parts i may need (like a short tool rest) are going to have to be either made or adapted from other manufacturers stock. thanks for trying to help though

A shorter toolrest shouldn't be difficult.

Take a look at the Robert Sorby modular system.
http://www.toolpost.co.uk/pages/Chucks___Accessories/Toolrests/toolrests.html

Measure your toolpost diameter with callipers and then order one the right size with a cross-bar to go with it.

The Robert Sorby toolposts have an M12 x 1.25 thread and so you can also make your own cross-bars if you're feeling keen and need more than one - It's probably not cost effect for a one-off.

Taps (Code 060-090-00900) from here...

and tapping drill (10.8mm) too.
