Hi Folks, not sure if this the correct forum to post this on - but here goes.....I want to start to add other features to wood working projects I have in mind, and this requires a laser engraver- . I know sod all about them - but love what you can achieve with a simple desktop version ( Under £500) Question is- does anybody here use one- and if so how easy are they to use by a complete novice- also is there any resources out there ( a beginners guide) on how to use one.

I suggest you check out Open Builds, there's a great community there with loads of experience
