I have seen engraved planes before, and frankly did not like them much at all, but that is lovely! It has a real 18th century look about it. (And yes, I know it's a C19th plane, but it's an old style.)

(And Mr P, I'm only slightly disappointed that this isn't one you bought on eBay for a song!)

I really need to stop telling people I used to be an engraver, looking at Ian's work I clearly wasn't.

No gravers here but I used to be a Wizzard with Diamonds and plan on being one again one day when I get round to it.
