Up the proverbial creek
Jim Reed has cropped up a couple of times on the forum as a supplier of less common plane blades and one-offs - as I just came across this link to his details on Woodnet I thought it might be helpful to post same. No affiliation, never even used him (yet) but I've heard nothing but good things. Anyway, fwiw.

Cheers, Alf

I've had a set of blades from him for my Stanley #43 plough - good stuff - full thickness (1/4"), keep an edge well, good fellow to deal with.

Cheers
Steve

Very prompt response from Jim and an an exchange of measurements for a 2 1/8" plane iron for a Norris A5 resulted in a quote of $44 including postage and a delivery before the end of July.
Cheaper than the prices I have seen in the UK.
