Needs to be keyed lock. Specifications unfortunately. Its to help secure 10k+ of photography equipment. Them locks don't look like they would allow the backwards motion of pushing the door in to open it. The door would hit the bracket the catch locks into.

I can see you'd have the same problem with any cabinet lock that uses a keep, as the keep is usually only wide enough to accept the bolt with minimal movement. An option may be to not use the keep, and instead have the bolt secure itself behind the frame (reinforced with a metal strip). Similar approach is taken with mailboxes where the bolt or tail rotates behind a lip to secure it.

Yes. Having trouble finding one thats barrel is long enough and "tail" is far back enough from the door.

Everything is already made and fitted. The locks are an addition.

Cheers DeanN 18mm doors frame is 22mm but can be adapted but where the locks go there is no frame so anything can be fitted to suit really.

Cheers Zach. Ill measure the push to open movement to see if them will allow.

Union and Yale do a range of 4 and 5 pin cylinder cupboard/drawer locks. These mount to the rear, with cylinder projections ranging from 17-30mm. Google union 4110 and Yale 076 as examples.

Lowe & Fletcher do a range of furniture/desk locks - Google models 4170 and 4180 as examples. Ronis do similar models.
