The craft fair season is now well under way and in the last 2 weeks I have attend 8 craft fairs. Some have been quite busy while others have been slow with not many people coming through the doors. I get to meet all sorts of people from all walks of life and now and again you get the odd one or two. An old boy wanted to handle one of my name signs that was on a 3 shelf display unit, he shook that much that everything fell off when he went to pick it up. A lady asked me how I made the wood, I said I bought it in liquid form and poured it into moulds. A couple of days ago i had a couple admiring a plaque I had made, they asked how I did all those fine internal cuts, I explained that I had tame wood peckers at home I had trained. Another lady said it must be very satisfying being a wood turner as she admired everything that had been made on a scroll saw. The most comon question I get asked is, do I make everything on display, if I don't who does. I then get asked what are the things made from and I reply, tree wood.
