Hello, I have a 3 phase Multico Planer Thicknesser (CPT 3 phase) which I bought second hand about 7 years ago. It's had a new switch from Brooks Crompton and some new blades otherwise it's un-modified. When running it's developed an intermittent tone which I think may be a bearing on the cutter but it's nigh impossible to tell. It is getting worse so I expect before long I'll know what it is when it packs up totally. I've had the tables off and the machine fairly stripped in the past but I've yet to work out how the bearings can be changed. To call out an engineer is going to cost me upwards of £250.00 not including a return visit or parts made up so if anyone has any ideas or experience with this machine it would be very helpful.
