Converting Tiff to Jpeg

I'd try to open the tiffs with GIMP and resave as jpeg. A Google search for "convert tiff to jpeg" gives more methods

I use Picasa to manage my pictures and it has some decent export tools where you can define the size and quality as well as type. Picasa can convert Tiff to Jpeg easily but it is way more than a converter. It is free however.

Which operating system are you using and do you currently have any photographic editing programs installed?

If it's a Mac, then it's built-in already. Just use Preview...an overlooked but very useful little program.

Any ideas of my best way to go about converting some Tiff images I have to Jpeg so I can get them printed. The local and online printers I've tried seem to only deal with Jpegs

Just use "save as" and select the jpeg option in virtually every piece of image software on Earth.
