Coloured and decorated lidded form.

This little hollow form is around 4 1/2" tall without the finial. The decoration is pyrographed in with the whole thing then dyed and silver gilt cream added to give that old metalized look I seem to keep putting on stuff lately! The finial is aluminium. There is as ever a more detailed description of the thinking ect behind this on my blog.

do you also colour the inside too?

Criticism: the dark colouring looks a little patchy, other than that it looks fantastic. I really like that.

Looks good, I think you should add a border ( or shapr line ) between your finished areas, and your textured areas to seperate them cleany. ( a tip you gave me !! )
