When using CA glue between coats, what do you use?

I have been having to wait ages before attempting the next coat.

You an use a ca accelarator to speed up the process, I've not used it myself so cannot say how it performs I'm afraid. Pen turners use it to speed up the process and allows you to appky lots of thin coats in a short period. I'm sure ebay or amszon would have some. Hope this helps.

A single shot of accelerator sprayed above the pen about a foot over the spinning pen so the mist falls on to it. Don't shoot directly at it. If you are using a dust collector to draw off fumes, then the accelerator is sprayed so that the mist will be drawn over the pen on the way to the collector. Too much or too close and the CA can frost over and you will need to sand it off and restart.
That's what I do. The next turner may have a slightly or totally different way to do it and have success. You need to play with variations until you find the way that works for you.

Pete
