Closed end pen

Not done a lot of turning but managed this for a friendly competition on another site. I just don't seem to get enough time to do much in the shed what with shows and converting wood plus the other jobs like mowing the lawn.

Anyway the requirements are that it needed to be a closed end pen, I was lucky to find just the nib section and the screw part of the cap but had to order the tubes. As normal I have a load of tubes but not the size I wanted.

The kit I believe to be a JR gents or similar design and the blank is one of my own castings.

Congratulations on the creation Derek, appreciate the effort put into the production of your own kit so to speak. A mark of someone who understands the design process rather than just the assembly.
