Hi All

Haven't been on here for a while but good to be back!

Thought I'd share these with you, their made from ply and chestnut and stand 2.4m high, also had a small bench/seat fitted in between, sorry no pics in situ due to the room being tiny.

Just like to point out that we used Farrow and Ball paint which we sprayed, not a big fan as we had to keep applying coat after coat after coat to get a nice finish, maybe it's too eco-friendly? Client's choice...

Here's the design-

Finished ready for fitting-

They intend to fit fabric behind the glass?

Thanks for looking!

Hi Russ

Nice looking units. But not the same as designed?
Also just curious - why use chestnut for a paint finish? Is it cheap as chips en France? Or did you have some spare?

Chestnut is cheap and it's a wood that I like to use, machines well with a pleasant smell!

They look very nice, I take it the one on the left is going in against a wall?

They are both fitted units, wall to wall, swapped over for spraying........'Good spot'
