I am doing some mrmdf carcasses for a shaker faceframe kitchen, where the cabinet insides are going to be colour matched to the fronts. The cabinets are being sprayed in waterbased eggshell as are the face frames (although the top coat on the faceframes will be hand painted on site, the spray is just to get a base down). I want to spray a clear coat over the insides of the carcasses with a mid sheen so that they can be wiped down easier and are harder wearing. I was thinking of using morrells 362 waterborne, but I have no idea if this will work well over the painted finish? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
