To cold to go out in the workshop so did a watercolour indoors from one of my railway photographs taken at Stoneycome near Newton Abbot.

VERY nice devonwoody! Wish I could paint stuff like that.

BTW, from the (little) bit I remember from round that way (it's years & years ago now) isn't Stoneycombe near the site of the Pumping House from Brunel's Atmospheric Railway? Is it still standing?

Yes Stew the paper has buckled, but it will be place under a pile of other watercolour papers around 150mm thick so it should flatten out in time. :wink:

AES, did a search using Google and there is no trace of the pumping station, its location most probably would have been at what is now a very active quarry site, so perhaps they sold the stone off like they do horsemeat! :)

Pleased that others liked the painting, around two hours work.
