This is what I'm currently working on started by jointing 2 ash boards to make a wider board for the main carcass
Next I vanneeed the ply back with rippled cherry and gave it a good sanding and sealed it with sanding seeler
next I glued up the main carcass
while working on the secondary cherry top
was all left overnight to rest before gluing the legs to the sides as they were shaped on the back I used the off cuts to make it parallel so I could use my bessy 27s at the front I could use g clamps.
once it was dry it was sanded with 180 to remove any glue and had the top fitted
next I trimmed the back panel with cherry because I didn't like how it looked
here's a close up with no glue lines
and today I have chosen my drawer fronts and started to machine up the drawer boxes in ash
I have ordered push to open runners they were a bit spendy but I think it will look better overall with our drawer pulls
and here's a few overall shots
Mod Edit:- Image references and text coding ammended. CHJ
