Can anyone recommend a 1/2" shank (for router table use) bit that not just tongues and grooves but leaves an 1/8" or so chamfer at the join of the boards? And I'm referring to a single bit where the adjustment between tonguing and grooving is established by changing the bit height as opposed to a bit matched pair. At a pinch I would use the design where you disassemble the bit and rearrange the cutters while still mounted in the router.
I have an offset T&G that gives a great joint but I then have to chamfer seperately if thats the finish I want (which it usually is).
I was rather hoping a single bit exists that does both jobs....and does it with the move up and down for adjustment principle. I appreciate I could pour through trend catalogues etc, but I reckon there's bound to be someone out there who knows the answer...speed up time
Thanks
