Ceiling fan causing another light to flicker

I fitted one of these all singing all dancing ceiling fans for a relative. Removed existing pendant and fitted this in its place. All appeared working fine. Got a call the next day saying that when the fan is on, the light in the next room flickers. Only happens when both are on together. I haven't gone to inspect yet, but to be honest I'm not sure sure why this would be, and so not sure what exactly I'm going to be looking for. Can anyone offer any pointers?

Check all your connections, the power is looped through, so a loose connection with the fan vibrating it could be the cause.
