I used to use it all the time years ago but have since moved on to Titebond and various pva. I've just ordered some Cascamite for a specific use but cannot find any data regarding shelf-life or best way to store. A few years ago I had a very large tub go off rather quickly (couple of months maybe) so I'm keen to know how to keep it and what to expect shelf-life wise.
Any info appreciated, with thanks

As soon as you open it, decant into small containers so that you are only exposing a small amount to air (ie moisture) when you open the top. The shelf life is more dependant on that than time. That way you should get 12 months plus from it.

Good stuff cascamite, I like it. I haven't used it for a little while myself, favouring liquid hide glue for inside jobs at the moment.

Thanks Mark, i'm assuming keeping it dry is the key then, temperature not an issue. I shall decant and seal v well this time then.

Keep it dry, but try and open indoors for the decanting, it's the humidity in the air that affects it. I bought some a while back and after the same advice above from here, I decanted it into baby food bottles, and being a belt and braces guy I put those into an old plastic paint tub with a bunch of those silicone desiccant packs you get in packaging.

That was over a year ago and I used some from the same batch about 3 weeks ago and it set just fine.

If you know you want small amounts for repeat jobs, I for instance use 7 level teaspoons at a go quite regularly, mixed (3.5 to 1) = 2 teaspoons of water)

Try placing measured amounts into small Ziploc plastic bags and squeeze all air out when you have some spare time, then when needed no measuring required. (pen parts bags for instance)

I too decant bulk into small sealed screw top, sealed, jars as soon as main container opened.
