Good evening all,

I had my CamVac single motor running in the garage with a heater going as well. I was using the CamVac with a 63mm hose just doing general cleaning up and it just stopped. Nothing tripped the heater was still going so nothing overloaded but now the CamVac won't work anymore. This thing is less than 2 weeks old.
Anyone have any ideas, is there any thing I can try or just unlucky.
Is there any kind of reset button anywhere on the CamVac?
TIA
Dan

If it overheated, the thermal trip on a vac is usually self resetting. Give it something more than 30 mins to cool and try it again.

Unless made with a "bypass motor" vacuum cleaners rely on an adequate supply of the "dirty" air through the canister to also cool the motor. Choking the flow too much and for too long will cause a vac to overheat after a while. A classic example is hooking up a basic type vac to a sander. Sanders actually have poor airflow, and a dust extractor for sanding needs a bypass motor design.
