Are there any CAD users out there that can produce a 3d model from a details sketch?

Simple ones maybe, just learning Acad

Have you tried google sketchup? its very easy to learn and free

Upload an image of the sketch and I'm sure somebody will do it.

As someone who uses CAD almost everyday, I would suggest learning a CAD system yourself (something easy like Solidworks).

They are relatively easy, and with the increase in rapid prototyping companies making to order, it is a very useful skill.

That being said, upload a drawing and I'll let you know
